Build a Big Thing for Puget Sound this Earth Day

What connects residents to Puget Sound?
Puget Sound Starts Here is accepting photo answers to that question now through the end of Earth Day, April 22. The photos will become a huge, iconic Puget Sound animal mosaic. What kind of an animal? To find out, residents can watch online at bigthing4pugetsound.org or visit two City facilities throughout Earth Day, the Center for Urban Waters, 326 E. D Street, or Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market Street.
The big something will change shape and grow on walls throughout the entire Puget Sound region as more photos are added.
Photos should depict something that participants love about the Puget Sound region – anything from a beautiful sunset to a beloved creek to a favorite outdoor activity. Send photos to Instagram at #mypuget or email them to mypuget@email.com.
Puget Sound Starts Here is a partnership of cities, counties, state and federal agencies, nonprofit groups, and local organizations dedicated to improving water quality and aquatic habitat in the Puget Sound region.
