Comprehensive Plan Workshops Taking Place April 9 – 23

There are still opportunities to attend a workshop for the Tacoma Comprehensive Plan update, Tacoma 2040. The Comprehensive Plan establishes City policy on numerous topics, including housing, economic development, parks and open space, and transportation. These workshops provide a forum for residents to share what they value in their community and in their neighborhoods.

• Council District 5: Thursday, April 9,6–8 p.m. at Gray Middle School (6229 S. Tyler St.)
• Council District 2: Thursday, April 16,6–8 p.m. at Stadium High School (111 N. E St.)
• Council District 3: Thursday, April 23,6–8 p.m. at Tacoma Nature Center (1919 S. Tyler St.)

City staff will also be on hand at these workshops to take comment on the draft Transportation Master Plan.
