Expect lane closure on SR 7 in Tacoma

Drivers traveling on State Route 7 in Tacoma between Interstate 705/Interstate 5 and East 38th Street will see a left lane closure during daytime hours one day next week for mowing operations. 

From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, maintenance crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the left lane of southbound SR 7 from milepost 58.2 to 57.9 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and “Give ‘em a Brake” in construction zones.
