Experience the Arts of Music and Glass Coming Together

Join Us for an Evening of Live Music and Glassblowing Featuring Music From Rags & Ribbons
Tacoma, Wash. – Museum of Glass is hosting Portland-based melodic rock band Rags & Ribbons for a live concert in the Hot Shop on Friday, August 22 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy an evening of live music and glassblowing, food for purchase, and a cash bar selling beer and wine as well as other non-alcoholic refreshments.
The evening will kick off with live glassblowing at 6:30 p.m. with an emcee on hand to answer questions from audience members about the glassblowing process. At 7:30 p.m. the concert will begin on the balcony overlooking the Hot Shop floor while glassblowing continues throughout the concert. Guests are welcome to enjoy a drink and food while taking in the sights and sounds of the evening. The current gallery exhibitions will not be available for viewing during this event.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased on the Museum of Glass website at museumofglass.org or at the door. Tickets are $5 and all ages are welcome.
