Four Positions Available on Foss Waterway Development Authority Board

The Tacoma City Council is looking to fill four volunteer positions – two expired terms and two three-year terms – on the Foss Waterway Development Authority Board. 

The Foss Waterway Development Authority Board consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members shall be civic or business leaders with experience in such fields as finance, real estate development, law or construction management and, to the extent possible, a majority of the membership shall be residents of Pierce County. 

The Foss Waterway Development Authority will undertake, assist with, and otherwise facilitate the redevelopment of property within and along the Thea Foss Waterway, currently an underutilized and blighted waterfront area in the heart of the City.
