Give Comment on the Mason Gulch Management Plan

The public is invited to give comment the creation of a natural resource management plan for Mason Gulch. The City of Tacoma is asking for feedback on the various areas that are being considered including native vegetation, wildlife habitat, recreation, public safety, slope stability, stewardship, water quality, views, and public access. Find out more about the development of this natural resource management plan and how you can get involved at cityoftacoma.org/mason.
Take the Mason Gulch Survey and let City staff know your thoughts about the use and function of Mason Gulch. The survey will be active until Sept. 18, so tell your neighbors about it!
The City’s Environmental Services Department is caretaker to select open spaces, due to the environmental benefits they provide throughout Tacoma. The City wants to find out how the needs of the community can be served by these spaces by fostering volunteer stewardship, quality vegetation, and natural resource management plans (such as this one for Mason Gulch). With your involvement, these spaces will become even greater Tacoma assets.
