Harvest Fests Provide Fall Family Fun in Four Corners of the City

Metro Parks Tacoma presents Harvest Fest--an October family event series offered across the city on October 17, 24 and 31.

Families can enjoy fun activities and games on October 17 at the Center at Norpoint, October 24 at Portland Avenue Community Center and October 31 at STAR Center and Peoples Center.

The Harvest Fests offer autumn-themed family entertainment including pumpkin-themed crafts, games, face painting, prizes, costume contests, bounce houses, refreshments and more. Each community center will offer a slightly different aspect of traditional fall harvest activities, featuring local businesses and vendors.

Metro Parks’ seasonal neighborhood event series features neighborhood-based spring, summer and autumn events. These events have become very popular as they allow community members to connect and enjoy fun activities close to home, while exploring all the recreational and programs available at their local community center.

Admission is free to all of the Harvest Festivals.
