How to Recycle Your Christmas Tree in Tacoma

Solid Waste customers in Tacoma can take advantage of one of two ways to dispose of unflocked, undecorated Christmas trees without stands.

Trees can be cut into sections small enough to fit into curbside food and yard waste containers or dropped off at the recycle center. Designated containers to collect the trees will be available now through Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.

Flocked trees can be disposed of in the garbage.
