I-5 concrete panel work continues Aug. 26-29 in Tacoma & Lacey

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will finish replacing 11 of 21 concrete panels on northbound Interstate 5 in Pierce and Thurston counties during the overnight hours starting Wednesday, Aug. 26. Closure details are as follows:
Wednesday, Aug. 26 - Lacey
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane at milepost 109.7, just north of the Martin Way interchange, in Lacey. Lane closures will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.
Thursday, Aug. 27 - Tacoma
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane at milepost 129.5, just south of the 72nd Street interchange, in Tacoma. Lane closures will begin at 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28.
Friday, Aug. 28 - Lacey
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane at milepost 109.7, just north of the Martin Way on-ramp, in Lacey. Lane closures will begin at 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28. All lanes will reopen by 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.
Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30 - Tacoma
• Northbound I-5 will be reduced to a single lane at milepost 129.5, just south of the 72nd Street interchange, in Tacoma. Lane closures will begin at 9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29. All lanes will reopen by 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30.
