I-5 lane and ramp closures scheduled in Tacoma

Drivers in Tacoma should plan ahead for night time lane and ramp closures on Interstate 5. 

Lane closures 

Beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, crews will close the right lane of southbound I-5 in an area between M Street and Portland Avenue. The lane will reopen at 6 a.m. the following morning. 

Ramp closures 

Thursday, Nov. 20 - 
Northbound I-5 collector/distributor on-ramp to I-705/SR 7 will close from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. 

Monday, Nov. 24 
Pacific Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 
Northbound SR 7 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

Tuesday, Nov 25 
Northbound I-5 collector/distributor on-ramp to I-705/SR 7 will close from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. 
City Center on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 
Northbound SR 7 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

The work is related to the I-5 M Street to Portland Avenue - HOV project.
