Mayor Marilyn Strickland to Host October 13 Budget Input Meeting

The Proposed 2015 – 2016 Biennial Budget has been transmitted to the City Council on Oct. 7, and members of the community are invited to participate in budget input meetings Oct. 13 - 30. 

The first meeting on Oct. 13, from 6 – 8 p.m., at The Evergreen State College (1210 6th Ave. in Tacoma) will be hosted by Mayor Marilyn Strickland.

“We work hard every day to provide efficient services, and build a safer, cleaner and more attractive city that provides economic opportunity for all,” said Strickland. “Hearing directly from our residents will help us prioritize funding among existing services, deferred maintenance, and new and expanded services.”
