McMurray Road Northeast Closed Due to Landslide

On Monday, Nov. 2, part of the roadway on McMurray Road Northeast, between Marine View Drive and Browns Point Boulevard in Northeast Tacoma, was washed out and is now currently closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The City of Tacoma is working with a geotechnical engineering firm to evaluate the slope and a contractor will be hired to make necessary repairs that are estimated to begin later in the week.
