Monday Mixer on Oct. 21 Encourages Idea Sharing to Help Small Businesses Get Online

The City of Tacoma's next quarterly Monday Mixer networking event at the Hub Events Center (203 Tacoma Ave. S) on Oct. 21, from 5 – 6:30 p.m., is geared to small business owners interested in learning how to build an effective web presence without breaking the bank.  

"Surprisingly, more than 50 percent of small businesses do not currently have a presence on the web," said Mayor Marilyn Strickland. "We hope this event will spark some lively conversations about the value of creating a strong online identity, and how it can help local businesses grow their customer base by reaching new markets."
