Night lane, ramp closures scheduled for Tacoma/Fife HOV construction

Tacoma ramp closures 

Monday, Nov. 16 

• At 9 p.m., southbound Interstate 705 on-ramp to northbound I-5 and southbound State Route 7 will close until 5:30 a.m. the following morning. 

• At 10 p.m., northbound SR 7 on-ramp to northbound I-705 will close until 6 a.m. the following morning. 

• At 11 p.m., southbound I-5 exit to southbound SR 7 will close until 4 a.m. the following morning. 

Tuesday, Nov. 17 

• At 9 p.m., southbound I-705 on-ramp to northbound I-5 and southbound SR 7 will close until 5:30 a.m. the following morning. 

• 11 p.m., southbound I-5 exit to southbound SR 7 will close until 4 a.m. the following morning. 

Saturday, Nov. 21 

• From 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m., northbound I-5 collector distributor exits to northbound I-705 and southbound SR 7 will close. 

Tacoma/Fife ramp closures 

Monday through Thursday Nov. 16-19 

• State Route 167 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. each following morning. 

Tuesday, Nov. 17 

• Southbound I-5 exit to East 27th/Bay Street will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. 

Friday, Nov. 20 

• 28th Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 and the Bay Street on-ramp to northbound SR 167 and corresponding intersections will close to traffic around the clock starting Friday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. Ramps and intersections will re-open by 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23. 

• During that weekend closure, East Bay Street will also close between 27th Street and 28th Street, and East 28th Street and Portland Avenue, from Friday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 23 at 4 a.m. 

Continued ramp closures

• Northbound State Route 7 on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5.
• A Street on-ramp to northbound Interstates 705/I-5.
