Night ramp closures continue for Tacoma I-5 HOV projects

Tacoma area ramp closures 

• 10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 19-21, to 6 a.m. each following morning. 
o Southbound Interstate 705 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close. 
• 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 19-21, to 4 a.m. each following morning 
o Southbound I-705 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close. 
o Northbound I-5 collector/distributor exit to State Route 7 will close. 

• 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23 
o Northbound I-5 collector/distributor exit to SR7 will close. 
o Southbound I-705 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close. 

Fife area ramp closures 
• 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23 
o Port of Tacoma Road on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close. 

• 10 p.m. Friday, Oct 23 to 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 
o East 28th Street between Portland Avenue and Bay Street will close. 

• 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 to 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct 24 
o Southbound State Route 167 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close. 

• Extended weekend ramp closure 
From 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, crews will close the Bay Street on-ramp to northbound State Route 167 (River Road). 

In addition to the above mentioned ramp and lane closures, the following are long-term closures related to two I-5 HOV projects in Tacoma.

A Street on-ramp to northbound Interstates 705/I-5.
