Park and Zoo Rank #1 in Best of Western Washington Poll

Each year Western Washington consumers join together to vote for their local favorites. This year Point Defiance Park and Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium were both named winners in the KING5 Best of Western Washington Poll.

Point Defiance Park claimed first place in the Best Playground category. This 765-acre park is a popular destination for more than 3.1 million people each year. 

Natural forest, saltwater beaches and spectacular views offer numerous possibilities for recreation, education and communing with nature.

Attractions found at the park include Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum and the Point Defiance Marina.
