Pet of the Week: Babe

Babe is a big sweetheart of a dog who defies all negative stereotypes. Though the 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix came to us as a stray, she clearly was well looked after and is as gentle and mellow as they come.

While slightly wary at first, Babe soon warms up, her reservations quickly giving way to a sociable and playful personality. Toss a tennis ball, and Babe will love you forever — she very much enjoys a round or two of fetch. Due to her build, it’s recommended that children be older than 10 years of age.
