Pet of the Week: Squinchy

Squinchy is a special boy who has an extraordinary amount of love to offer. This three month only neutered male is nearly blind, due to a viral upper respiratory infection as a young kitten. This virus will remain with him his entire life, possibly flaring up in the form of a runny nose or watery eyes during times of stress. His lower eyelids also roll inward, causing irritation. This condition could resolve itself, but if not, he may need corrective surgery as an adult.
All this may sound daunting, but only time will tell how much care he will need. The loving owner who adopts this sweetheart will be amply rewarded with a lifetime of affection. He is extremely friendly, loves to cuddle, plays well with other cats, is perfect with the litter box, and is a real charmer.
