Pet of the Week: Tonka

This week’s Featured Pet is an adorable 6 year old brown and white German Shepard Mix named Tonka.

This happy-go-lucky pup came to us as a stray last month and is looking for his equally fun-loving forever family. Tonka is a dog who could chase tennis balls for hours if you’d let him. Play is the first thing on this guy’s mind, and of course making  sure his new owner is having just as much fun as he is. When you get tired of playing, this pup is great at keeping himself entertained with toys.

Tonka’s manners are pretty good, but in need of some work. He responds very well to treats, so honing up on his do’s and don’ts should be a breeze. This dog truly has a wonderful personality and would fit in perfectly with an active family with children over 10 years old.
