Pet of the Week: Zelda

If you want a dog who will be by your side to experience all the great outdoor fun or go for long runs, Zelda would be the perfect partner! This beautiful 3 year old Pit-mix is full of energy and spunk. She has been at our shelter for around six months, but is still a happy girl who loves to get outside.

Zelda is crate trained and calms down easily. In a home environment she matches her energy to the environment around. She enjoys clicker training and especially loves to have her belly rubbed! Due to Zelda’s energy and strength, she would do best in a family with no young kids and needs a home with no small pets (OK with dogs her size or larger with a meet and greet first). She does great in the car and would especially love to have a yard where she could run in circles.
