Pierce Transit to fill vacancies on Community Transportation Advisory Group

LAKEWOOD, WA – Pierce Transit is accepting applications to fill three current vacancies on its Community Transportation Advisory Group (CTAG). CTAG members serve an important role as informed stakeholders providing feedback on Pierce Transit's proposed plans, policies and services, and acting as communication links between Pierce Transit and their various networks. Applicants must either reside, be actively employed, or be a full-time student within the Pierce Transit service area.
Application materials may be obtained at Pierce Transit’s website, www.piercetransit.org, or at Pierce Transit headquarters, 3701-96th Street SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Completed applications must be received in Pierce Transit’s offices by 5 pm, March 28, 2014. Interviews are planned for the week of April 3-10, 2014, and applicants deemed the best qualified will be invited to preview a CTAG meeting on April 17, 2014.
The Pierce Transit Board of Commissioners will approve and appoint new CTAG members at its regular Board meeting on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 4 pm. New CTAG appointees will serve a three-year term, beginning with their first CTAG meeting on May 15, 2014 and ending May 14, 2017.
