Project Office Opens in the Lincoln District

-- Residents and Business Owners Invited to Attend Open House Dec. 3--

The City of Tacoma recently opened the Lincoln District Project Office (750 S. 38th St., Suite C), with regular office hours being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The office is centrally located in the Lincoln Business District and will help facilitate community engagement throughout the course of the Lincoln District Revitalization Project. City staff working on infrastructure improvements, economic development and public art programs, neighborhood beautification, public safety and human services initiatives will all be able to use the project office to engage with the Lincoln community.

“We are excited to work directly in the neighborhood while these revitalization efforts take place,” said Carol Wolfe, Community and Economic Development supervisor. “This location will help the City get to know those we serve better, as we experience the revitalization impacts together as a community.”

Residents and business owners of the Lincoln neighborhood are invited to the Lincoln District Project Office Open House on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 1 - 5 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting at 3 p.m.
