Spraygrounds Open Weekends in May
Good times and cool water began flowing last weekend at Tacoma’s spraygrounds.
Tacoma’s ten sprayground locations will be open every Saturday and Sunday, regardless of the weather, from 10 am-8 pm through May 25. From Memorial Day through Labor Day they’ll be open every day.
Generally, May is a critical time for staff to work through systems or spray feature issues before bringing them on line full-time for the summer so the public’s patience is appreciated if spraygrounds encounter any glitches.
Uniquely designed with input from kids and parents who use the parks, these wet playgrounds can provide hours of entertaining water play. Since the water does not accumulate, children of all ages and abilities can play safely. Admission is free.
