Sweetheart Special: Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Museum of Glass

Tacoma, Wash. — Couples in search of a special way to start this Valentine’s Day can take advantage of a Sweetheart Special at Museum of Glass on Friday, February 14. Beginning at 11 am, couples can pick up a special Hot Lunch from Choripan by Asado and feel the flames while watching the action in the Hot Shop. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as there will be two special giveaways done from the Hot Shop floor from 11 am to 1 pm.

“For your sweetie, why not give them a gift of time and experience?” notes John Ferguson, Museum of Glass membership and special events manager. “You won’t find a hotter Valentine’s date than this!”

To make reservations for the Sweetheart Special, please call 253.248.4263. Orders must be placed by Thursday, February 13 at 5 pm. A selection of sandwiches, artisan chips, a beverage and a Valentines treat are included. Price: $14.95/lunch (Museum admission not included)

Other Offerings

Families are invited to attend Valentine’s Delight on Family Day on Saturday, February 8 from 1-4 pm. Visitors can design their own Victorian 3D Valentine with the help of artist Larry Calkins. Performers from the Comerford School of dance will be back for their annual performance and are sure to delight the crowd with traditional Irish dance.
