Tacoma Symphony Orchestra Joins Tacoma City Ballet For The Nutcracker and The Tale of The Hard Nut

TACOMA, WA – Tacoma City Ballet is delighted to welcome the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra back to the Pantages Theater Ballet Pit for the first time since 2003. TSO’s new Music Director, Sarah Ioannides, will conduct The Nutcracker & The Tale of The Hard Nut. Described by The New York Times as a conductor with “unquestionable strength and authority,” Ms. Ioannides’ dynamic presence has won praise from audiences and critics internationally with engagements spanning five continents.  Her initial contract with the TSO spans a full five seasons, effective on July 1, 2014.
