Telephone Room Gallery sponsors free evening at Tacoma Art Museum, May 24th

The Telephone Room Gallery is pleased to be sponsoring an evening of FREE ENTRY to Tacoma Art Museum and the HIDE/SEEK exhibition, as well as a feature performance by The Bran Flakes (starting at 6:30ish), on Thursday, May 24 from 5-8 pm.

Tacoma Art Museum has been open until 8 pm for every Thursday of the HIDE/SEEK show, but not every Thursday evening is free. This one is free!

In addition, Tacoma Art Museum is also featuring a project that was designed by the Telephone Room Gallery, the I AM portrait project. People are being asked to think about identity, as inspired by HIDE/SEEK, and are being asked to write one word that defines themselves on a piece of paper and have their photo taken. The resulting portraits are being posted on facebook  and flickr. The I AM project is active every Thursday evening from 5-8 pm in Tacoma Art Museum’s main entry level.

Do you like things that move? Are you upset by things that stand still? Annoyed when you have to conjure mental images?! It’s okay, everything is going to be alright. The Bran Flakes can help. Let us move things for you! Our video pages can help you on your way! All you have to do is click here.

Too much clicking? Watch a bunch all at once on The Bran Flakes’ YouTube Playlist.
