The 2014 Community Cleanup Schedule Is Now Available

City of Tacoma Will Sponsor 16 Community Cleanups Between April and September

The City of Tacoma will partner with more than 20 Tacoma neighborhood groups between April 26 and Sept. 6 as part of the 2014 Community Cleanup program. 

The schedule for the cleanups was released this week:

“We are excited to have so much eager participation from neighborhood groups to work together to help create clean and safe neighborhoods,” said Lisa Wojtanowicz, Community Services Division Manager.

The program, which offers each neighborhood area one cleanup day per calendar year up to 16 cleanup days throughout the city, is being fully utilized again this year. The City provides dumpsters for residential customers who live in single-family homes or duplexes on their neighborhood’s day to spruce up their properties and save a trip to the Tacoma Landfill.
