April Fools Dash on April 5, and the Adventure Race on May 17, provide fun family off-road adventures!
April Fools Dash – April 5
It’s no joke, the April Fools Dash begins at 10 am on Saturday, April 5 at Norpoint Park. It’s
guaranteed to be full of surprises and silliness, crazy challenges, awesome obstacles & foolish fun! Bring your family, don your jester hat and discover what fun these paths can be when loops and challenges are added.
The $10 entry fee includes a jester hat and surprise treats. Deadline to sign up is midnight April 3. Day of race registration is available for $20.
Afterward, participants are invited to Center at Norpoint for "Spring On the Sun", an annual free family event, that celebrates the beginning of spring and includes rock climbing, arts & crafts, face painting and other festive activities.
Adventure Race – May 17
STAR Center’s Adventure Race at 10 am on Saturday, May 17 includes obstacles to jump over, crawl under and run backwards around. This 2-mile trek will get the entire family involved in an outdoor activity that’s filled with adventurous challenges.
The cross-country style race winds around the trails on the SERA campus and finishes at STAR center. Participants will zig zag, crawl and hop on their way through the event! Afterward families can enjoy more fun and activities inside STAR Center.
The entry fee is $10. The deadline to sign up is midnight May 15. Day of race registration is available for $20.
