Upcoming Street Maintenance Scheduled June 25 – 30

The City of Tacoma’s Street Operations Division is performing upcoming street repairs at the following locations. 

The first repairs are scheduled on Thursday, June 25, through Saturday, June 27, on and adjacent to Ruston Way from McCarver Street to North 49th Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. These repairs will include smoothing depressions and potholes on the street surface for Freedom Fair activities. Traffic will be down to one lane during maintenance with flaggers in place for traffic control.  

The second set of repairs are scheduled on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, on South Sheridan Avenue from South 56th to South 64th streets. The street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for maintenance that will involve spot repairs and lane replacements. Detour routes will be in place with local and emergency access allowed.

All repairs are weather dependent and rescheduling may be required. Updates will be posted on pre-construction signs located in each area.
