Winter Schedules Begin at Zoo and Trek

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park recently moved to its fall/winter schedule. Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium does the same on Nov. 3.
But don't fret, the schedule at Northwest Trek still packs in plenty of time to enjoy native Northwest animals, plus hop aboard heated trams for naturalist-narrated tours through the Free-Roaming Area, which is home to bison, elk, bighorn sheep, deer and moose.
The zoo's new schedule provides visitors with five days every week in which to see tigers, polar bears, red wolves, sharks, stingrays, walruses, lemurs, meerkats and dozens of other animals.
