A showdown brewing for Tacoma Public Utilities?
Tacoma's Charter review process is in full swing, with meetings every Monday and Wednesday. It's a pretty involved process, with a lot of nuance, and a lot of discussion.
If you're inclined, you can find relevant documents, and link to agendas and audio recordings of Charter Review Committee meetings (Mac users might find them a little difficult to play, but it can be done), at cityoftacoma.org/charterreview.
If you don't have time to sit down and pore over all the hours of discussion, you can follow along with The News Tribune's Kate Martin on Twitter at @KateReports where she live tweets meetings. On Monday she also did a nice recap of some discussion around the future of Tacoma's public utilities.
