Coast to Coast Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run

Watch out Tacoma, a group of pretty hardcore bikers are headed your way. The annual Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run stretches nearly 4,000 miles from the start in Daytona Beach, Florida to the finish right here in Tacoma.

The motorcyclists participating make the run in 17 days. They left Daytona Beach on September 5. They'll see some of America's most beautiful scenery on their trip, before finding their way to the finish at the LeMay America's Car Museum, where you can welcome them to Tacoma. Expect them to roll into town sometime mid-afternoon next Sunday, September 21.

We won't claim to be endurance motorcycle riders, but we're guessing they'll be ready for a cold drink and a hot meal when they get here.
