Harmon Brewery secures Iron Brewers Championship

Beer and Tacoma seem to be popping up together in headlines a lot lately - or maybe we're just thirsty. Either way, a big congratulations to Tacoma's Harmon Brewery, for bringing home yet another award.

This time it's first place in the Beveridge Place Pub (blog sponsor) Pro-Am Iron Brewers Competition. The Harmon won the bracket-style blind-tasting with their Steep and Deep Winter Ale, spiced up with seasonal ingredients (Iron Chef-style): yams and rosemary.

Congrats to the brewers and team from the Harmon. Speaking of which, is it lunch time yet?
