UPDATED: Rev. Ron Vignec, founder of Salishan/Eastside Lutheran Mission, died Sunday

Pastor Ron Vignec passed away Sunday at age 70. Pastor Ron's contributions to Tacoma are too numerous to count, and he will be missed by the hundreds whose lives he touched. 

Pastor Ron's primary work was on the Eastside where his ministry was, but all of Tacoma is a better place for having him as an advocate and community leader.

UPDATE: A memorial service will be held at Urban Grace church, 902 Market Street, Tacoma, on Thursday, November 21 at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Holden Village, or the Salishan/Eastside Lutheran Mission fund for First Creek Middle School students, or Northwest Leadership Foundation.
