Soccer-golf 'footgolf' course opening in Tacoma

Apparently footgolf is a thing. And we've got the first footgolf course in Washington opening at Metro Parks-owned Meadow Park Golf Course in Tacoma.

The players, many of whom seem to favor knickers and argyle, kick a soccer ball from the tee to the green, where they try to sink it into a 21-inch hole. The rules of play are similar to traditional golf. 

It's been around for half-a-dozen years, has players internationally, and even its own Footgolf World Cup. Have you played footgolf before? Are you ready to give it a try?
