Tacoma rebounds

Althought Tacoma's economy took a bigger hit with the economic downturn, and although it has recovered more slowly, things are improving.

A Seattle Times article over the weekend takes a look at current economic conditions in Tacoma and Pierce County, and compares them to Seattle and King County, and the rest of the state.

The conclusion? "Tacoma faces some big challenges," but "Tacoma and Pierce County are essential elements of the Puget Sound economy. And the significant improvements there are good for the entire region."
