Friday Moment(s) of Cuteness

Earlier this week, just in time for Mother’s Day, the Point Defiance Zoo’s eight-year old red wolf Millie became a proud mother of eight little red wolf cubs. Yesterday we were sad to read the news that the smallest of the litter didn’t make it. The other seven, three girls and four boys, seem to be doing well, and they’re awfully cute…

We’re big fans of cute animal pictures, and the PDZA keeps us well-supplied – and well-informed. For instance, this week we learned from their Facebook page that the gibbon has the longest arm length proportional to its body size of any primate. And there’s a great picture of an airborne gibbon flying through the air with the help of his long, long arms. And then there are the baby meerkats… Thanks to our friends at the Zoo for the great posts.
