Beat The Heat in Metro Parks Pools and Spraygrounds

It’s going to be a warm day out there. Metro Parks Tacoma would like to remind you that there are a few options to beat the heat in our City’s parks. If you’re wonder where we are today …

SPRAYGROUNDS
Spraygrounds are free and operate from 10am to 8pm daily, at:

  • Jefferson Park 801 N Mason Ave.
  • McKinley Playfield – 4321 McKinley Ave
  • South Park 4851 S Tacoma Way
  • Wapato Hills Park 6231 S Wapato St.

SWIMMING AND WADING POOLS

Wading Pools
Operating Hours For All Four Wading Pools: Mon-Fri -1pm – 6pm, through August 27

  • Franklin Park – 1201 S Puget Sound Ave. (this site only, also open Sat & Sun, noon-4pm)
  • Portland Ave Park – 3513 Portland Ave.
  • Jane Clark Park – 4825 N 39th St.
  • Manitou Park – 66th & Cheyenne
    (These pools are free to the public and are subject to closures USDA meal time and for routine maintenance or emergencies which may occur during normal operating hours.)

Swimming Pools – Outdoor Pools

  • Stewart Heights – 402 East 56th St
    Open Swim Hours: Mon-Sun – 12-5pm; +5:30-7:30 session on hot days
    Full session $7 adult/$6 youth; half session & evening session $5 adult/$4 Youth
    This zero-depth entry pool provides ease in entering and exiting the pool for users of all ages.
  • Titlow Pool – 8355 6th Ave
    Open Swim Hours: Mon-Sun – 12:30-5:00pm
    Full session $5 adult/$4 youth; half sessions $4 adult/$3 Youth)

Swimming Pools – Indoor Pools

  • Eastside Pool – 3524 East L St
  • Centre at Norpoint – 4818 Nassau Ave NE
