NW Trek's Newest Residents Are Pretty Rare and Pretty Cute...

The newest arrivals at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park are just like your kitty - they're playful, they like to climb and chase and rough house with each other... except these kitties are Canada Lynx weighing 23 and 25 pounds each.

Their names are Sherman and Omak, and they're transplants from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado. They're on their way to 30 or more pounds as adults, and they're pretty rare - only about 100 lynx are thought to be living in the wild in Washington State.
