Tacoma City Council Meeting - Jan. 19th, 2010

Tonight’s Tacoma City Council meeting had an extremely short agenda. It was a nice and easy warm up for those new Councilmembers … The meeting began with the swearing in of newly appointed Councilmembers David Boe and Ryan Mello. David Boe even wore a suit. No tie, but a suit nonetheless. Here are the rest of our notes:

PROCLAMATIONS, RECOGNITIONS, AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mayor Strickland proclaimed January 22nd and 23rd, 2010 as Community Music Anniversary Celebration Days in the City of Tacoma to recognize the 30th anniversary of the University of Puget Sound’s Community Music program.
