Tacoma City Council- Oct. 1, 2007

The expected fireworks over Proposition 1 did not materialize. The issue was set aside until the next meeting to allow council members to fully study the information provided by Sound Transit.

In lieu of the transit debate, the meeting was rather simple. The council approved funding for the BIA and took comments from citizens during the open citizens forum.

The council holds an open citizens forum on the first meeting of every month to allow citizens to address any issue the council has jurisdiction over.
