Tacoma Ranked Among Least Safe Driving Cities

Here’s an interesting little statistic we read in the Business Examiner: Tacoma was ranked as one of the least safe cities to drive in by Allstate Insurance in a recent report.

According to the report, Tacoma falls as number 156 out of America’s 200 largest cities, in terms of frequency of car collisions. The average for the country is one collision every 10 years. The average for Tacoma is one every 7.8 years.

How does this stat compare to your experience driving in Tacoma compared to driving elsewhere?

I’m not surprised that we’re bringing up the rear in these rankings. I always marvel at the fact that there aren’t more accidents here, with the way most people drive.

Seattle was 154. Must be something in the water around these parts

If you don’t like my driving, get off the sidewalk!
